Born in the 70's in Louisiana - had a lovely childhood outside and barefoot playing in the heat and the mud and the grass.
Eventually grew up went to college - had a great time - Louisiana Tech University BFA 1997 in painting.
Moved to NYC for graduate school - it was harder then college - Hunter College MFA 2000 in painting.
Finshed school with lots of student loan debt and an MFA with a focus on painting.
2001 - unwilling or unable to get an academic job, started a company called Supermaggie making handmade felt scarves - this eventually morphed a screenprinting operation.
2011- living in Austin TX, painting pictures and running Supermaggie, designing men's and women's tops and t's for Supermaggie.
